About the Study

The ‘Early Years Development Profiling Tool’ is a pilot study from the University of Birmingham.

It’s aim

To trial a web-based tool on a large sample of children, to assess the validity and reliability in identifying differences and delays in neural, sensory, and motor development in children at school entry.

How it helps

Identifying possible barriers to learning and emotional well-being in early childhood will help target intervention help both close the attainment gap and support social emotional development.
